DX Vacation in Penang Malaysia!!   Fishing Rod and small manual antenna tuner for HF bands in 9M2  14th to 26th Aug in 199 9M2/JA3NEP Shizo(Ozzy) Ozone   I tried to operate HF band at the hotel in KUALA LUMPUR in 9M2 but AH-4 antenna tuner was out of date, so I could not operate ham radio opretion here. I had a spare manual home brew antenna tuner with me, so I could enjoy HF ham radio in Penang Island.

	9M2/JA3NEP with a penant of MARTS I was QRV on HF band at Rasa Sayang hote lin Penang Island where is very nice for vacation and Andaman sea is very beautiful.
	Unfortunately it was very bad condition for JA because there was big jungle for opposit side of sea where is JA's direction. but I could contacted with couple of JA stations by only CW which is very small signal, and no SSB operation. Mean while It was good condition for EU and India so I could contacted with 140 stations for my stay in Penang Island.

Fishing rod vertical antenna with antenna tuner at the balcony of Rasa Sayang hotel in Penang Island. I contacted with EU countries, ZS, ZL, VU, VR6, BV, HS, HL, and JA stations during my stay in the hotel. I satisfied with my stay in the hotel with good ham radio operation and very beautiful enviroment here.
Result

It is very beautiful sun set here and good atmosphere at the hotel. And there are many small birds and crows who were very friendly. Hi.
